Risky work

This article by Donald MacRae reminded me that some work is inherently risky. And not just sports as work, like Formula One. Deep sea fishermen accept huge risks; so too do farmers, construction workers and the like. I’ve never met a single fisherman who didn’t know the risks of putting to sea, and the farmers I’ve known have been acutely aware of the huge range of risks in their workplace.People acknowledge risks, appraise them, and then choose to accept them, or move on. Some people may even be attracted to jobs by the risks and challenges involved.

So why do some people have problems with sex workers knowing and accepting the risks of their employment?
